Questionnaire Analysis
We did an
audience survey to find out what the other students at our college would like
to see in the “college Magazine”. We asked 50% male and 50% female, when we
asked “Do you read the college magazine?” 90 % said no,. Commenting that they
didn’t even know we had a college magazine, this gave us the impression that
something was being done wrong and that magazine wasn’t featuring the right information.
We then stated the question “What would you like to see in the college
magazine?” Fashion, Real Life Stories, Music Job Advice and Sport came out on
top of all other options. We then asked “How often should the magazine be
published”, 60% of our results stated that it should be published monthly. We
then asked “would you pay for the college magazine?”, 60 % said they would pay
as long as what they wished to be in the magazine was featured. We felt that it
was important that the magazine would feature some of the students work so that
that they felt a part of the magazine, however 60 % said they wouldn’t
contribute. The look and appearance of the magazine is significantly important
because it needs to be attractive so that people want to read it, we asked the
students “what colours would you most like to see on a magazine”, Red, Blue,
White, Purple and Pink were the top answers that we concluded. Over all by
doing this we will produce a magazine that meets the target audience wants and
needs.
